Good food for heartburn, GERD
Choosing right food and diet for Heartburn sufferers is very important factor in controlling the acid reflux effect. The best course of action for those suffering from GERD , heartburn symptoms is to find the type of food that will work well which means the foods should not trigger the classic symptoms of heartburn. In order to be safe when consuming any food, you need to know which foods are the worst for GERD disease. Certain foods and drinks may aggravate the heartburn and GERD symptoms. - Grains : bread, multi-grain or white , both brown and white rice, bran cereal, oatmeal, corn bread, graham crackers, and rice cakes.
- Salads dressing : low fat /oil salad dressing should be considered.
- Sweets : cookies ( fat-free ), jelly beans and baked potato chips
- Beverage : Mineral water
